Cafe Des Artistes Ubud   Gay owned and managed, with  great Belgian and local food. Café des Artistes is proud to present a new art-exhibition every six weeks. Young local and expatriate artists are decorating the restaurant’s walls with their innovative art-works, paintings or photographs. All the works are unique and for sale, an original souvenir from Bali!

Cafe Local Poppies 2, Jln Benesari   Gay owned and managed by an Balanise & Belgian couple, featuring great local and Belgian food.  The handsome and friendly staff are there to help you select your meal.  “Café Local” a fresh and modern looking café-restaurant with a strong diverse personality injected by its owners Pande and Gert, a personality apparent in the style, the music and the menu.

Club Cabaret Seminyak   Large mixed (mostly gay) featuring shows nightly.  A nice outdoor terrace, and a great bar.  Dance away the night.

Club Cosmo Seminyak   Mixed, gay oriented club in Bali. Located on two spaces – outdoor terrace and indoor air conditioned dancefloor. The only 1 hour show among other bars. Many male dancers and drag queens on a really big stage with cool lights. Good bar, nice staff. Very busy on weekends.

La Lucciola Seminyak   Gay owned and managed.   La Lucciola is perched right on the edge of the beach. An enormous open, thatch-roofed building, with dining on two levels. I always head for the upstairs section, as a nice breeze is almost inevitable. The large bamboo furniture seems to suit the place and the occasion.  Sarong-clad waiters are ready to assist.

Le Tebu Petitenget,    Gay owned and managed, Our breakfast favorite includes the classics eggs benedict and eggs Florentine and many more. Meanwhile, our dinner menu covers not only the delicious Indonesian cuisine such as beef semur (Indonesian style of beef goulash), vegetarian martabak (filo filled with egg and onion) and various satay (satay ayam/chicken and sate lilit/Balinese traditional tuna satay), but also French country kitchen style cuisine such as coq au vin and bouillabaisse.

Mixwell Bar Seminyak, Jalan Dyana Pura,  probably the most popular bar, friendly staff, live DJ and drag shows.

Pili Pili Warung Jln Mertanadi 63, Seminyak   Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Seminyak, gay-owned and gay-friendly restaurant serving a fare of fine Indonesian and European cuisine. The small eatery is a perfect place for anyone wanting a quiet meeting with some privacy and tasty food.
