Chiang Mai Gay Guide
There are probably 50 or so gay venues scattered throughout Chiang Mai. Get out and explore, it is a wonderful city. Rent a tuk-tuk for a day and enjoy. There are several areas to check out for the gay life in Chiang Mai, Chang Phuak, Huay Kaew and Night Bazzar. The gay scene in Chiang Mai is much more laid back than in Bangkok, or Pattaya. Most of the venues are small relaxing local bars, often outdoors and great for meeting people. Moreover, Chiang Mai seems to have a very large concentration of hot, sexy young gay Thais, many of whom come here to study and are keen to meet foreigners.
