Pattaya Pride  (formerly Pattaya Gay Festival) was formed in November 2000 by a group of businessmen headed by Jim Lumsden of Boyz Boyz Boyz in Boyz Town, Pattayaland Soi 3, Pattaya to raise funds for charitable purposes and has, since inception to the end of 2010, raised some B31 million. To raise funds for charity, Pattaya Pride holds various events throughout the year. Every Thai Baht raised is used for charitable donations and none of these funds are used for administration purposes. All members of the Pattaya Pride committee donate their time free of charge and there are no management costs. Recipients of Pattaya Pride donations include Naklua Drug Rehabilitation Centre, Bangpakong Home for the Disabled, SOS Rice, Rotary 1000 Bike Project, Ban Bung Juvenile Home, Take Care!! Safe Sex Project, The Mercy Centre, Jing Jai Orphanage, Thais4Life, and Pattaya School No.8 as well as the principal beneficiary ‘The HEARTT 2000 Foundation’ (Help Ensure AIDS Rescue Together in Thailand)

Take Care The mission of the TAKE CARE!!  SAFER SEX PROJECT is to provide information regarding PREVENTION of HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STI’s) as well as distributing safe sex packs containing condoms and lube to encourage prevention of various STI’s, including HIV. Prevention of STI’s is vastly less expensive than the time, cost, energy and resources required for their treatment. Except for abstinence, condom use during every encounter involving the possible exchange of bodily fluids is the best prevention method available.

Thais4Life Thais4Life is an independent charity, dedicated to assisting Thais with medical or special needs, who generally would not receive help from any other recognized charity or organization. The basic medium for generating funds for Thais4Life, and providing considerable exposure, is the Thais4Life Bookshop, and your support for the bookshop would be  gratefully appreciated.  It has been called “The Best Bookshop in Pattaya”, and carries over 35,000 titles in 16 different languages. Donations of books are always gratefully accepted, and you can buy a book for only 80 baht – all books are priced at 80 baht – and you can also exchange any books that has been bought from the Thais4Life Bookshop for just 40 baht. The Thais4Life Bookshop is located in Soi Yensabai Condotel (See map and detail below). You are invited to visit us at any time during our opening hours – 12.00 noon – 6.00 pm Monday to Saturday – closed on Sundays.

Pattaya Players Theater  The Pattaya Players are a troupe of amateur thespians recently established in January of 2008. The organization was created to provide an artistically adventurous environment that attracts and excites diverse members of the Pattaya community by providing theatrical productions that entertain, inspire and inform.
